Bear in mind that these are not for women with extra wide calves.  But if your leg calf is medium wide (circumference is 13 3/4), then this will keep your feet comfy and warm during the cold winter snow months.  The size selection is ample as they start at size 5 and continue up to 11.  Colors are offered in black, brown and charcoal.  One happy customer noted in her review that she considers the charcoal color to be more of an actual gray.  We think all of La Canadienne boots and shoes are excellent, but we really like the “Kara” brown knee high boot.
