After a lot of searching, we found the La Canadienne “Passion”, Italian leather knee high boots.  They satisfied all the elements we were looking for in near perfect winter footwear.  This has a classic round toe and a 2 inch heel with the look of a beautiful black riding boot.  In addition to the regular B medium width, they’re also offered in a woman’s wide width D with colors of brown or black leather.

They’re great to wear with most anything in your closet, including leggings or tight jeans.  Perfect for cold weather football games and comfortable enough for shopping or anytime you’ll be walking a lot.  We love the classic rounded toe and it’s block heel which is great for stability as you walk.  The La Canadienne Passion is  not overdone with buckles or other ornaments.  Just outstanding footwear with a warm, comfy fit.  We should mention that for women with narrow calves or extra thin legs, this high shaft boot might gap a little.  But for average sized legs, it should be just fine.  The measured circumference is 15 ” inches.
